ford f-250 from 70's-80's looks promising don't know of anyone that has used one, the old pickup in my yard as an outside frame, forward facing pitman on it.

Can you post up a link to the adapter. I had a special hose made but would like an adapter so i can run a stock hose

maouser i ran 37s with fj60 steering box and p pump with kid from urban .. and got a fitting off just a toyota pick up ifs powersteeering box.. then had lines make from the gm pump to the fj box it worked great.. i ran 37 inch iroks usually about 4psi it worked great..

and that was with homemaid drag link and tierod i think if i had highsteer it would have worked even better.. well i know it would have because first trip i had high steer.

what are you doing for your steering yoru running fj80 axles right

what locker are you running in the front.. with a lockright , aussie ect.. you will be fine but when i turned on my front arb it was hard for my gf to steer but i think alot of it was bad pan hard geometry.. anyways this was where i was headed before full hydro

currently its a detroit auto locker in front. my front is already setup for hydro like below. i am going to remove the ram and make a tie rod with 3/4 heims, then tie the drag link in like a y setup with heim low, and yota TRE on top for the pitman arm.

thats a pic of my axle in the rig it was in before i got it. i also have a stock unmolested FZJ80 with factory steering i could run as well. once i start getting everything mocked up on the chassis ill make the final decisions. ill save the full hydro setup for the day she becomes a full trailer queen. visually it looks more street legal with the yota box set up, only real reason i am going in this direction.

your modding to the 9.5" third up front right?

im not that crazy down here, i should be good with the 8" LP or HP as its mostly a trail rig. only see rocks a couple times a year.

we will see how i make out with this steering setup. that will probably be the first thing i mock up so i can build the panhard bar and 3 link around it.

if you use the stock steering that will make front suspension easier but you cant run a lp thats my problem ..

yours should be easier than mine ..

the area where my diff is is huge so the pan hard hits on it ( or looks like it would) so i wanted to move it forward.. but then then there will be steering issues so now im just waiting tell i get the knuckles its not worth having to cut it all off and re do it

yeah, spinning the stock arms to the front side would let me run the LP, i have the HP just need to get around to swapping it in to whichever housing i end up running. i think. what im thinking will work on my already modded housing, just need to draw it up and get some parts on order. again waiting on tax return, and daylight savings.

i am not entirely sure, just looked through all the pictures i have of both axles.

I assumed they were just spun around and flipped right to left, but looking at the pics i could be wrong. ill try to take a closer look when i get home tonight.
