Samurai stock carb rebuild needed

I have a stock carb I want to get rebuilt. I am selling my tintop and want to take the my-side off it before the sale for my next zuk if possible.

The Carb itself is pretty easy to rebuild.

But remember that it is VERY reliant on the ported vacuum switches, sensors, & ECM. I suspect the majority of people with "Carburetor" problems, Never had actual carburetor issues at all, but rather a problem with another part of the system. (All that said, I'm running a CV carb soon too )

Can the the external pieces still be purchased, specifically the thermo wax unit for the choke, as well as the other vacuum switching valves, idle up actuator..?

That's good advice for the op, here in Cali that's not a smog legal option.

I'm sure they are available somewhere, but might be troublesome to track down.

As stated, not real useful. OP is looking to KEEP his current CV. Why buy a new one just to keep the old ?

I'd also assume that since he has, & is planning to keep a CV setup, that he knows of it's superiority to the stock carb.
