Sorry got the delay but race season has started and i have been parts searching for the past few weeks. I have not got a 93 rear drive shaft from a 4runner, pac racing seats and got the seats installed. This last weekend i drove 140 miles round trip to get a fj80 steering box. I will keep yall up to date. I do have a ton goings this summer with my dirt latemodel racing every weekend so this will be slow to start and then get rocking with all the parts together.

Even though race season is going hot and heavy will have all the parts for the front axle later this week and will be getting pictures up as we go with the build.

Here is the Saterday progress which started at 8:00 am and ended Sunday at 2:30 am, with the help leaving me in teh shop at 11:30 while they got sleep.

The first cuts in the trans tunnel for clearance.

The Drive train assemblied

The first test fits on to check clearance

First clearance issue that had to be fixed a/c compressor hitting frame.

First crossmember for the engine

T-case mount fabed and cooling.

After a closer look and planign for sunday found engine crossmember had to be changed.

The look of it clearing the hood at 2:30 Sunday morning

Time for some sleep.

Sunday started early at 9 am and we finished around 2pm.

Crossmember

Outline of FJ80 steerng box to get fabed up. Turns out takes awhile to mount a steerng box when yo slug the frame and have to space it to clear everything. Not to mention taping to fo the slugs cus we could not put bolts al the way thru due to the a/c compressor.

And of to bracing the t-case mount to make it stronger

3/4 by 1/8 does wonders for reinforcement.

FJ80 steering box installed

Ejected fro the shop for some weekend closing pics and to clean up the shop.

Not planed but makes you think

Well i can say i got a good start on the build this weekend. Have alot to go still but any questions are welcome and suggestions don't hurt either.

With the zuk 40 minutes from my house at the race shop i have been working on stuff at my house that is able to be lifted by me and a friend once built. Last night built the front axle. Factory 4.10 gears are teh gear choice as of know which should be right for the total package. i installed merlin inner axle seals, longfeild lifttime wiper seats, rock rings, backing plat eliminators, and tronion bearing eliminator kit aslo, with a high steer setup also.
