yanking the pos heater

So I am pulling out the whole heater set up and don't have a book. I just need to know what and were the bolts are to get it lose. Its going in the trash when done so I don't care if it gets busted up doing so. Thinking right not about just using the swazall on it.

I think there was a video of Shorty ripping one out in about 13 seconds.

Maybe hit him up for some pointers.

if I recall correct..there was just a stud on the fire wall.remove the cable controls,heater hoses,that nut on the stud in the engine compartment,blower wires and yank and cuss and yank ,get all pissed off about it cut your hands all up and cuss some more

why pull it out? if you solve a couple few issues, they will run you out of the truck they get so hot!

If you can clean it thru a hole just pull it clean it and new heater core and don't work it under a tree and it works great.

Motor is

and the PO painted over the controls. Whole thing is junk. Got one to put in its place that I got from summit. Also going to block off the vent in the cowling.

I took mine out also. i used a similar technique in the video but didnt totally destroy it

Im going to clean it up and put it back in some day

Haha I plan on keeping the dash it when I remove mine. Sawzall and some junk blades should work. Being doing it as soon as I am done with the front toy axle.
