2.0 and 2.3 Aerio engines?

Would all the 2001-2007 Suzuki Aerio 2.0 & 2.3 engines be good swap in candidates for a Samurai? Seems a couple of 2.3 swaps have been done and the wiring was nearly the same as a 16v swap. Here is one 2.3 swap:

Just thinking it would be good if we can expand our engine donor options from the 16v and 2.0 Sidekick/Tracker series to other Suzuki vehicles.

Edit: Great writeup.

Been running a 2.3 for a couple of years, I've never ran a 2.0 but a lot of 16V's and I can tell you it is night an day as far as power!! A lot more torque down at the lower rpm and super power in the higher RPM's along with great gas mileage! It is a little more complicated to install because it's a transverse motor, but well worth the trouble. Lampright is a good friend of mine, he had no choice but to install a 2.3 in his cherry LWB sami, he got tired of me walking away from him on the hills and getting better gas mileage to boot! LOL

Using the 2.0L accessories like coolant routing, header etc makes the swap easier

That's exactly what you have do do, plus the 2.0 oil pan and pickup tube. I used the 2.3 header which is a larger dia. tube. But you have to make your own drivers side motor mount.
