Quite a common swap in the UK because they are everywhere and cheap but in reality for the weight they aren't that great.

OK under a light vehicle but the shafts, CVs and diffs are weak. I actually think samurai diffs are stronger The shafts in them aren't that much stronger either, The rear shafts in samurai axles are pretty much the same size, it's only that the rover axles are full floating that makes the shafts last a bit longer.

And as said above the gear ratio selection sucks unless you want to spend a lot of money.

I would honestly rather run built Samurai axles.
