OK, The only thing mechanically lacking on my sami is shocks. I think that will be the last upgrade I will have to do for my build. I have some mixed matched ones and probably too short (no pun intended Shorty) of ones in the front. I know of some good ones, but i would like to hear from the Zuki crowd. Give me some ideas on some.

i ran Doetsch Tech's hydro shocks.

I dont reccomend them for the street because they are nitrogen charged so they get pretty hot relitivly easy. Off road they were great beause they would really let the YJ's flex without trying to hold them up. also they can be run inverted which i did to help solve some clearance issues.

What kind of springs or coils or suspension are you using? If you have fairly stiff springs use the cheepest ones you can find. Honestly the zuki doesnt weigh enough for most shocks. I had good luck with procomp

I am running the lifted YJ's and yes they are real stiff in the rear. The front I think has been stressed enough where they are about just right.

Then just get some cheapies... Procomp I think you can get 4 for under 100bucks. they will be plenty soft... i think the es 3000 are what i used.
