anyone runnin kick-yota duals? you like em? im trying to decide on my best option. im tired of bustin zuk cases. i found a yota for $50 and i figure i can sell my6-1 for enough to divorce it and gear it 5-1. what you guys think? im trying to get info on a dana 300 behind a lobbed kick but that may be way too expensive.

this is what im going to use

http://www.ottindustries.com/kicker4.htm

You can put a toy case behind either the auto or the 5 speed. I already have the 1.6 16 valve engine.

You can then just run a single toy case or run dual toy cases with a marlin adapter or the like or you can do what I have planned, the Dana 300 with this adapter http://www.ottindustries.com/dana300.htm

this give me unbelivavle gearing options. with low range gear sets avaiable for both the toy box and the dana 300 and being able to twin stick the 300 :shocked!: :shocked!: with the 2.28 of the toy and 2.62 of the 300 I get a 5.9 Atlas!!!!! :funny: :funny: for less than a grandjamminzz jamminzz I can throw marlin gears int he toy case and get stupid low and not cost that much.

the idea I like about the setup is that if im too low for something I can just throw the toy case in Hi and just have the normal low range out of the 300 or put the 300 in 4HI and the toy box in low ans all while keeping a stronger 4.10 gears int he axles jamminzz jamminzz

right now ive got an 8 valve -auto-lobboed kick case-6.5:1 sam case and 4.88r/p on 38.5 its too low. the only other reason (besides strength) i see to go any other way is the twin stick option with the 300 and the marlin support with the yotas. as far as low enough gears, im already there. i just want somthing stronger and more reliable.

you figure
600 for a kicker4
250 for a 300
200 for twin sticks
100 for a yota case
400 for a marlin gearset
thats a chunk of change! i know its worth it but DAMN! im just trying to weigh my options and figure out what i can get away with

Well I dont have near that in mine

600 for a kicker 4
200 for a 300
0 for twin sticks (made my own)
50 for toy case

that will give me 5.9:1 with stock gear sets

If you keep 4.88 R&P's then 5.9 should be ok if 6.5 is too low right?

2.8 in a kick case + 6.4 in my zuk case = 9.2 (crazy low) and in most cases, too low. i know i can shift them to reach my desired ratio but im also lookin for strength.
