Alrighty boys,
I'm considering what I swore I wouldn't do. stretch the sammy. I thinking once I do the sammy swap I might stretch the wheel base. I was thinking about 100" would be nice. What the best way to go about this? I am running TT YJ setup. Anybody got any experience with this?
Thanks,
Billy

If you are using springs you can extend the frame. Are you ever planning on going air shocks or coil springs?

Ideally I'd like to go to air shock at some point but I think that will probably be a ways off though. I probably won't go to coils though. I figure if I am going to change out the YJs I might as well just go to air shocks. :D

If you stay with the leaf springs and donot add on to the frame you are looking at about 86" max. I added to the front and moved the spring hangers out about 4 inches and I am at 90". The rear is set up with missing links and the front of the rear spring is pretty much in the stock location. Here is what I did on the front. http://www.zukikrawlers.com/showthread.php?t=520

Sounds to me like I should put the stretching plans off until I go to air shocks... Thanks for the info guys.
