I dont have pic of the damage but here the repair....

I riped the shock towers off and found out how thin the frame really is, there in the motor compartment now and reinforced the frame, no more problems.
Also came up on these...jamminzz is 3psi to low?

Thanks, my cousin dose some fab work as a hobby and he hooks me up when I go to far and hurt my zuk, he runs a yota but is impressed everytime we go out. Heres his yota

Looks like a fun place to wheel.
What axle did he put in the front of that? and I am guessing coil overs or nitrogen shocks?

Its all yota...he made it straight axle and used lifted yota springs, double t-case and rancho shocks I think...

OK. I see a spring in there now. That is why I asked about the nitro shock/coilover. Looks good. i dont know why car makers went to the IFS on 4x4's. the straight axle rocks. jamminzz

Same thing happened to my buddys frame. Ripped out both ford shock towers.
I repaired the same way you did. I also added sleeves and bolts through the new plate and frame.

I used the diamond plate only because its what I had on hand at the time.

I notched the towers and brought the shocks in toward the motor.
