Any of the soft plugs pop out. If it wasn't frozen hard it should be ok.

I knew when I saw "crap" and it being under the engine section, it was not gonna be a good thing. But, it looks like it is since you found it before the fluid turned solid. Good thing it had some antifreeze mixed in there!!!

X2 You should be good since it is still not solid. Check to see how your freeze plugs look. If they are in and tight you should be good. If they are loose or out you might want to check the rest of the block really good for hairline cracks. Sometimes this is hard because of the cast lines on the block. Hoping for the best.

Well folks, THIS is why I live in the desert southwest...
It is still getting down around freezing at night (early morning), but...
Today and tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 72, rising to 75 on Friday.

Hey Figgy, is it a sami or kick ?? if it's a kick and as long as the case isn't split, just run it until the stick moves.. mine had about a cup of water in the top of the tranny, took the boot off, took the stick out and used an old towel and a turkey baster.. yes a turkey baster I bought at the local dollar store.. once I got all the water out, I used some of my gear oil to dispel any moisture that might be left and greased the hell out of the shifting ball and put it back together.. well that was almost 2 months ago and lots of nights well below 0 degrees F and no more freezing..hope that helps and good luck..smokin
