annual spring Moab trip

This years trip was just me and David (catzuk). We did get the chance to meet Zukijames and wheel one out of the 4 days with him. David had worked hard and furious over the last month to finish his buggy Zuk for this trip, but just ran out of time. He ended up taking his DD Zuk and pushing it to its limits as always. We squeezed in as many trails as possible in our time in town. we ended up running

Did you make it up the Helldorado waterfall too Mike?

You know Ken. I went first and wussed out and hooked up my rope before I even gave it a good try. After watching James drive it I'm pretty sure I could have done it. He has a lot of wheelbase on me. (Mine is 98" and his is like 115") but I still think I would have made it.
I'm still learning what my new buggy version of my Zuk can do and I have been surprised at how well it does do. :)

Dang. I was thinking it was too short for that and may have tipped over backward on it's own. It would have been nice to have tried it if you had a winch line for safety.

I THINK it would have been just fine I guess I was close to having the front tires up trying to crawl it. It's one of those things I would have just had to roll into and committed to doing. Honestly if it wasn't late and starting to snow I may have gone back around and gave it a go. Maybe next time though. I will be back.
