I need a new motor stock 1.3 lost oil pressure and took a crap. I am considering the old stand by Tracker 16 valve or a swift DOHC 4cyl. Does anyone have any thoughts on which would be the better motor. I am currently putting Yota axles under it and am going to be running 35 tires.

You might consider a 1.6 or 1.9 Turbo diesel motor out of a VW

They are pretty dependable and I heard a lot less hassle to install. I am working on gather up all the parts for mine right now.
...this engine is designed for transverse mounting -- which basically means that you have to either:
drop a big wad of Australian dollars for a right-angle adapter for the distributor
poke a hole in your firewall so that the distributor fits.
There are other solutions to all this, but in the log run, a 1.6 16-valve is easier to install
I could be wrong...:funny:
