engine wants to die

Everything is good when the engine is cold, but after about an hour of driving, the engine dies when it drops under 1000 RPM. this just started last weekend and it is getting annoying when i am trying to coast down hills. I have to work the clutch/brake/gas all at once to keep her running.
I checked the vaccum lines and set the idle up a little and nothing worked

Any ideas?

Seems to be a rash of motor problems as of late.....lol

Have you checked the "motor running like crap" thread for ideas?? Lots of good info in there.
