Sounds very interesting. You can't have enough power! It's the pedal on the right that gets me in trouble.:jumping:

The whole rig thing is about balance, watch the weight of the engine in respect to the amount of suspension you have. Light is might, sammies excel in this respect.

well long story short. i dont have the technical knowhow

Technical knowhow takes time to learn.... Sawzall knowhow comes naturally. You could always cut the mustang away from the motor and firewall and put your zuk body over the top off it... I aint saying its easier but it would definitely be interesting.

Otherwise find a motor that someone makes a kit for:

VW Diesel
Suzuki 1.6L
Chevy 4.3L

Toyota is also pretty simple if you keep it carbed

It sounds like a 3.8 v6.They are good engines, but the accessaries stick way out in the front. My brother has a 97 mustang and I have eyed its motor. It would kick butt in a sami if you could get it to fit,but you would have to cut the fire wall or relocate the radiator to the bed(if you want to keep the front sheet metal).
