I know it will work in it but not sure if the 1.6 can use a bigger cam.

Low Range sells them and it doesn't specify to my knowledge of any difference in them. So if they sell a cam for a 1.6, then it should take it. Just need to clarify if the 1.3 and 1.6 cams are the same.

they are to my knowledge, but i think you need to use the 1.3 ditributor. i may be wrong but really dont think i am.
