What do you think the smallest trailer a zuk could fit on. Mine has stock axles with 33's.
Im thinking some sort of utility trailer would work.

I haven't got my own yet But I use a buddeis 16ft utility and it works great. Its just a lawn trailer.

the bare minimum to be safe is a short 12-14' tandem axle 1 axle having brakes on it.
I am not starting the single axle golf cart trailer shit throwing contest again, am only answering the question from experiance.

? don't know, don't care, but why would someone attempt on a single axle? duh
A tandem even if it didn't have brakes is better.m2c

Smallest? 6' X 10' with leaf springs and a 4" drop axle. And ask Benji, JJ or Bobby if it works.

A single will work BUT if a trailer is rated at say #3500 you should really try to use it with 1/2 that. So will a single work for a sami yes. Is it ideal NO.
A tandum with brakes is the best set up and anything 10' or bigger will work really well for a sami. I run a 14' low boy with tandums and 1 axle brake and it's SWEET!! But a few buds of mine do run singles and do ok. You just have to go slower cus if it starts to sway you don't have the trailer brakes to stop it and a single will sway more then a tandum.
By the way most singles come with car tires not even close to as good as you should run on a car hauler.
Also if you do get a single try to have the front(A-frame) reinforsed with some angle. I've seen a few bend so the hitch is no longer flat.

Ive seen Robert run his 75 or 80 down the road!!! I think if your building a purpose built zuk hauler a WELL built single axle will work just fine!!!

I have pulled mine on a 16 foot lowboy tandem axle with no brakes... I wouldn't recommend it for a permanent situation though.

if you would run 14'' tires on that trailer and use a 2'' rise hitch you could get it more level and help things out. you could also add brakes to 1 axle and help it.

but this is not a run of the mill tractor supply yard trailer, you built this for your zuk and used a 4'' drop axle to get the center of gravity down low and be able to control the load more.
some of these guys want to run the 6x10 utility lawn mower trailers and think it is fine, they are not built to do that. yours works well , but it was well thought out and designed for a special purpose.

O yea most moble home type axles are rated at #7000 or even more and one of them would be more then good for a single to haul a sami for sure.
I have just seen a few singles with the the tongue bent up really bad and most have really crappy tires new. Thats all I'm say'n. You don't NEED a tandum but some of the singles are just junk even brand new.
And buy the way I just run a 2" drop hitch upside down on my E-150 so my trailer sits nice and level. YES there made to drop OR lift the ball and it's fine to run them as a lift and not a drop hitch.

I have posted a few of them in the craigslist adds for as little as 500 and I don't think you can get close to that for material and time...

I prefer tandem trailer that way you have the option to hall more if you need. This is a trip to Hollister all loaded weighed out at 7.2k. This is on the way home. No water 60 gal fuel 30 gal ice 60lb = about - 700lbs. Its a little long so 60 mph is as fast as I would go. But did what it was supposed to do.

if you would put the zuk in the middle and 2 atv's in front and 2 behind it would pull a lot better and be more stable m2c

That how it was on the way to Hollister didn't seem to have enough tung weight that way. Working on rack for front to hold 2 atv over hood of zuk. That will give me more room to move zuk around to balance the load. Ill put up pics when thats done.
