im getting to the point in my sami that im scared of snaping axles and burfs, and i do not want to go to toyota axles. but i see that calmini makes a few upgrades to help with that.

and a spool locker from Trail Tough to go with it in the rear, im welded up in the front and it seems fine.

after that i'd lower my ring and pinion gears and get 33" swampers
is it worth the money?

ok cool thanks for the reply.i snapped an axle a month after i got my GRS 2's, and i gess it was just its time. ill just get the ring and pinion gears and the spool locker then, and see where it goes from there

It seems to me that the terrain has alot to do with it also. Seems mud and loose dirt would be alot easier on them. I run alot of rocks and snapped a Dana 44 axle. I am running 38s with 6.5 to 1s and 5.89 gears. And in the Danas defense I do not know what kind of abuse the axle had seen over the last 30 years in the Waggy. I now have Superior shafts and CTMs. They are pricey but I do not yhink I will have any more trouble with the front axles. JJ

Cups will only 'contain the blast' when the birfield disagrees with your skinny pedal.

( the one on the right has a cup on it...)
