Throw the sliders away and get a set from ww.Spidertrax.com

Throw the sliders away and get a set from ww.Spidertrax.comx2 Myk Willis rolled his Samurai backwards & that was the only thing that busted.

I have my seats tied into the roll cage.

I used 1 1/2 angle iron. 2" might have worked better. This WILL give you a taller seat though. I'm 5'9" but I sit about 6'1" (long torso, I'm semi-mongoloid). Physical defects aside, it's a little tall for me. If my head is in the right spot and the bump is big enough, I can hit my head on the bar that goes from the targa bar to the windshield frame. My wife, however would like it taller. She's 5'4" AND A HALF.

I have instructions somewhere from Roadless Gear. I can probably dig them up if you want them. Installing these probably took me half a day. It wasn't particularly hard but I didn't get the alignment good enough that the seats will easily slide forwards and back. Those aftermarket seat rails the fellers are talking about might be the ticket.
