Larry and Terrina are putting one of those in Project Truck #1. Gary has offered them since 2000.

i fabbed up my own dash by removing original, removing spot welded sheet metal.then welding flat stock on the bottom and the top plumb to each other.i then made a template out of paper transfered it to a piece of cardboad
brought it to local shop had it cut out along with guage holes located and cut out.re wired drilled and tapped to flat stock and installed. ill try to take some pics

I built mine, but didn't want to do the whole dash from scratch so I used a bit of plexiglass and some imagination..

It didn't take long and was really easy to wire in and of course it all bolted into the original holes.

I should have added some filler around the edges of the plexi, but I didn't build the truck for looks... So I figured the details weren't important.

When I had my '69 FJ40, I was taking a friend for a ride in it for the first time. We were just on a desert road but I caught him staring at the dash. When he noticed my stare, he reached over and tapped on the glass of the speedo where it showed "80." He said, "That's kinda optimistic, isn't it?"

In a Samurai?
:funny:

In a samurai, with death wobble, from a bad pinion angle, no shocks mounted yet... ummm NO NOT REALLY!!! chrfal

He said, "That's kinda optimistic, isn't it?"

Before the changes on the 87 stocker my wife had, it would do close to 100, I had a friend follow me, because his cars speedo went to 95 and we had the needle pegged, now it took a little while to get there, but it would do it.
